Hello! Long time DS/DST fan here. I'd like suggest a few tweaks to characters that have summons, because quite a few times it's pretty inconvenient to have them around!
First; Wendy/Abigail. She's my most played char, she's an absolute beast during early-game fights with spiders and hounds and the like. However, Abigail can be quite the inconvenience at times.
- Bee Boxes: whenever you try to farm a bee box at a time when the bees aren't out and they aggro on you, she completely annihilates your whole farm.
- Moleworms/Rabbits: she seems to have a personal against these two, whenever I pass by them she takes them out which isn't THAT bad aside from adding to your "naughtiness".
I think there should be a way to set Abigail to a "passive" mode where she won't aggro on anything and just follow you around. Maybe make her work similarly to Glommer where you have an item that you have to carry around for her to follow you.
Maxwell. First of all, I really like the rebalance of Maxwell in DST, he would have been way too OP if he was left the way he was in single player. However, his Shadow Puppets automatically mining/digging/chopping whenever you encounter any situation where they can do so is more than inconvenient. I think puppets should still mimic his actions, but ONLY the actions the puppets were meant to do; for example a mining puppet will stand still if you start chopping down trees. Having his puppets perform actions automatically means you can't go near tree farms you've set up. You can also accidentally wake tree guards up. There should also be a way to kill them yourself so you can increase your max sanity in anticipation of a boss-fight or something.
This is all I could think of at the moment, these are mostly just quality-of-life changes that'd make the gameplay a much smoother experience. Thanks for reading
