When I play with my friends on DST, and I am the host and I have to go do something, like eating dinner (for example.) while my friends play, I have to ask to them "hey, please stay with me so you fuel the fire if it gets night, oh and every day come feed me" and I found myself dead when I return. So, i suggest something like an "afk" mode, like you can't get attacked, can't move, don't lose hunger, and stuff like that. I know it might sound unbalanced (Ex: dying of hunger, set afk mode until someone gets food for me), but it might be very useful to players who can't make a dedicated server, and wants to let his friends play while the host is away.
